Paris Saint Germain are set to offer star striker Kylian Mbappe a monster £41million per year contract to prevent losing the 21-year-old to Real Madrid in 2021.
The Ligue 1 champions are keen to tie the forward down before this summer's European Championships and are willing to offer him a salary in the region of Lionel Messi's and Cristiano Ronaldo's.
Mbappe has been continuously linked with a move to the Spanish giants since exploding onto the scene and winning the 2018 World Cup with France.
Spanish outlet as now reports that club president Florentino Perez is planning to sign the 21-year-old in 2021, when he will have just twelve months remaining on his contract.
Real Madrid lured Eden Hazard to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer with similar tactics, but PSG's proposed contract would scupper Perez's plans.
The new deal comes after French newspaper L'Equipe revealed that Mbappe earns far less than teammate Neymar.

The Frenchman's new deal would make him the highest paid player at Parc des Princes, with a weekly salary of over £750,000.
Mbappe fuelled rumours linking him with a move from PSG after engaging in an angry conversation with manager Thomas Tuchel while being substituted during the 5-0 win over Montpellier.
